Interesting? $40/1000. I hate to break this to you but I am still getting them for under $28/1000, retail at a local shop. This shop has a policy on guns and ammo of cost +5%, they move a very large amount of merchandise, they refuse to sell to dealers, so as to keep stock for those using...
Simple answer, yep.
I shoot twice a week in small bore, am an assistant coach for the Jr. Small Bore team, shoot high power once a month, along with my plinking range time. 99% of my shooting is about fun and accuracy. Like I tell the kids, it has to be fun first and foremost.
I have all three, and my personal fav is the 375. But, like was stated above, it's on it's way out unfortunately. I have several thousand pieces of new brass for it, as well as several thousand bullets and molds to cast for it. So, I can keep mine fed for my lifetime anyway. But, it is something...
When you breed fear and oppression, you get fear and oppression. Not surprising considering the direction the UK has been going in for several decades.
Oh, this looks like fun. I'll admit, the scoring has me confused though. So, I'll shoot'em and let you score'em ;).
I do have a few questions. I have a rock stock Russian Vostok CM2 with a scope. This is a target class rifle so I would class this as a limited, correct?
Do I have a...
As far as my father is concerned, the only two guns that ever needed made were a Win 94 in 30/30 and a S&W mdl 10 in 38 spl. His favorite? I guess that would depend on whether he needed a rifle or a handgun.
Sadly, today's youth are pampered and spoiled. They lack responsibility and feel entitled. Now, I know there are exceptions, and there are many kids that don't fit that broad brush. But, it fits the majority of the young population these days. As bad as it goes against my core beliefs, most 18...
Quite frankly, if you feel a SRH in 44 mag kicks like a mule, you have a few choices. Either sell it and get something in a smaller caliber. Shoot lighter loads that you can handle and work up as your tolerance grows. I mean what is the sense of having a gun that will only develop a flinch in...
I show them the same respect they show me. Although I rarely address them as sir or ma'am, I do address them as officer. Once they step out of bounds and give me their "opinion" I feel free to return mine. I respect the job they do, to enforce the laws. Their opinions about which ones are...
The pro and cons of the fixed vs. telescopic stocks are pretty much eliminated when it doesn't move. You have better support and cheek weld on a fixed standard stock. Why subject yourself to the cons when you can't experience the pro's?
IMO it is an asinine concept to not allow it. The delusion that some people think that laws that restrict guns in any way reduces crime or murders has pretty much been debunked, don't you think?
I have three kids in school, and my greatest fear is that some nut is going to bring a gun into the...
I have to agree, a smoked Canadian goose is to die for.
Younger geese, I'll roast stuffed with sauerkraut and sausage. Don't knock it until you try it, it helps keep them tender and moist, and the kraut is mild and a perfect side dish to cut the richness of the goose.
