Which revolver will you purchase next?

All my revolvers are no lock S&W but any from now on will be Rugers. My 640 Pro is my last Smith until they get rid of the internal lock.

    AMMO QUESTION

I have a question about PPU 55gr SP ammo. Anyone have any idea how it stacks up against Gold Dot 55 gr? I know Gold Dots are bonded, but will the PPU do a good job for self defense? Any idea on penetration? I have some XM193 and Gold Dot 55 gr now, but found a sale on the PPU saving $3.00 a box...

    Vortex sparc ar

The Sparc AR doesn't have the etched reticle. Are you thinking of the Spitfire AR?

    Vortex sparc ar

Just bought the AR last night. It seems from reviews that both the AR and Sparc II both perform very much alike and are getting great reviews. The AAA battery and sleeker design led me to the AR, but the Sparc II was my 2nd choice. Honorable mention to the Strikefire II but the more expensive...

    Vortex sparc ar

Any one tried the Sparc AR? Seems like a nice red dot with a great lifetime warranty.

Is the Holosun HS503GU a "military grade optic without military grade price"

The TRS 25 has been redesigned. The new ones lose the dot in the upper 1/3 of the sight, I called Bushnell, they are getting a lot of complaints but will not be going back to the old design. They said consumers will have to learn to live with it.

    Moa 3 vs 5

My Bushnell TRS 25 self destructed on it's 2nd range visit, approx 500 rounds fired between the 2 trips. The setting nob fell off while shooting the rifle. Midway USA has offered a refund as they are out of stock and when I called Bushnell, they were out also. They offered to do an even exchange...

    hi point 9mm carbine questions.

Quality might be a problem with the handguns, but the carbines have a great reputation and reviews. Before buying my 995ts, I searched for problems and reliability issues with them and found very few negative reviews and almost all rated them very good rifles. Even the top named brands have a...

    .32 caliber ... I'm in love.

I only wish the ammo was available locally. Found 1 place that had 2 boxes of LRN for $29.99 each. On line I've seen LRN for 1/2 that price. FMJ about $18.99.

    9mm rifle on the cheap

No mag disconnect on the 995ts. Paid $246 with no tax and free shipping. FFL was $20 for $266 total. Fantastic price on a gun worth 2x the price. It also has a last round bolt hold open that most 9mm carbines don't have.

    hi point 9mm carbine questions.

From everything I have read, Hi-Points are selling as fast as they can make them so they are not changing a thing. Redball Sports makes a 20 round mag for the 9mm carbine. I just bought the 995ts and 3 of the 20 round mags. The gun and mags ran perfect. The mags are Hi-Point approved and even...

    PCC, Why Not .30 Carbine?

Pistol caliber carbines are hot. As fast as Hi-Points are advertised, they sell out. The keltec sub 2000 is impossible to find. I just bought a 995ts and love it. I have two .30 carbines that I love as well, but 9mm ammo is less than half the cost. 100 yard shots with the 9mm carbine are easy...

    9mm rifle on the cheap

Just bought a Hi-Point 995ts and took it to the range yesterday. Great shooter and flawless in 350 rounds. Definitely feels like a more expensive gun. The new Redball 20 round mags ran perfect. They are Hi-Point approved and sold on their site and other retailers.

    Very discouraged with subcompact autos...

I carry a 442 and a Sig P290RS. The 442 is a great gun like the 642, and the 290 has been flawless. I can also vouch for the Sig 938. My son-in-law has one, also flawless. I liked the feel of his gun, but didn't want to carry cocked and locked. You can't go wrong with either Sig.

    Phoenix Arms HP22A

Any one had any experience with the Phoenix Arms HP22A? I never thought I'd look at a so called Saturday night special, but they get great reviews and are on;y $129.00. They have a few too many funky safeties, but there are easy ways to eliminate them. I would usually never eliminate a safety...
