All Hodgdon would say is they didn't have any data. On another forum someone used it for 308 and said it worked great in it. That's why I was considering it for 270 and that I have 3/4lb of it sitting on my bench. Hodgdon doesn't have 308 data either.
Going to start loading some 270 after the holidays. I was thinking of using lvr because the burn rate was close to varget there's not much data out there. Has anyone tried this and is it worth trying over varget?
I contacted hodgdon and they didn't have any load data. Can anyone on here help out? I'm not dead set on using cfe but it's what I have.

Deer and hogs mostly. I thought about using hodgdon cfe 223 just because I have been using cfe pistol and like it. Has anyone used it much?

They will be hunting loads. I'm using Hornady brass and Hornady 200gn bullits with the plastic tip. They are for my brother he wants a little more long range accuracy and it's getting harder to find 35 ammo.

I'm loading them for marlin 336 does the COAL affect accuracy the same as other rifles? I've found some conflicting information about it online.

I've done it to any that are not flush I just use the same amount of pressure as the first go around. If it doesn't make it flush after that I separate it then put more pressure on it. Most of the time when I have a primer that's not flush it's because I didn't put enough pressure on it the...
