I wouldn't be surprised if many of the companies that are discontinuing business with the firearms industry were offered some kind of incentives by the powers that be.

I have yet to see any actual evidence of anything yet.
the closest thing I've seen to evidence so far is the short video of a LEO clearing a shotgun at the trunk of a car, and all that proves is that an officer had a shotgun at the trunk of a car and was clearing it at the time of the video.

Every person has the right to do anything and everything they so desire that does not violate the rights of another.
I'm of the opinion that the 2nd is in place to be one of the Checks & Balances that prevent any one person or branch of the government from gaining too much power. And in that respect, we citizens need to be at least as well armed and well practiced as those we are meant to be a check against.
