In my Chinese AK, the gas tube has 8 small holes on the gas tube. 2 4-rows on the front part of the gas tube. Yours seems to have 4 holes around where the gas tube is connected.
I usually buy my registered firearms from legitimate firearms dealers. I do this to make sure everything is arranged and documented properly. I comes out a little expensive but saves you a lot of time and hassle.
The gun store I use is named Twin Pines, Inc. They have a store in Cebu so...
Gun show
Mr. Unique
There is a Gun Show scheduled this Nov. 23 - 26. Venue is SM Megamall. For those living outside the Philippines, its located within Metro Manila.
I have a 2nd Gen G26 and 3rd Gen G19. Very reliable and good accuracy.
Wish that the Gen3 pistols also came without the finger grooves. The tactical rail on the dust cover is useful and has a Glock Tactical G10 light attached.
Also full size magazines fit in both my G26 and G19...
One thing I noticed about the Glock is that the reset of the trigger is shorter than most firearms I have used. Double tapping is easier. I tried it with my BHP and the group was larger.
+1 on the Glock being lighter and spares being readily available. It is the first pistol that I had...
Bartholomew Roberts
Thanks for sharing your nice picture of your BHP.
I noticed the difference in the color of the slide stop, trigger, magazine release, hammer and the safety. Did you have them refinished in some way?
Also is that the stock trigger? I just didn't notice the magazine...
I had my magazine safety spring reduced to lessen the weight and grittiness on the trigger. This weekend, I had my gunsmith remove the magazine safety altogether and it is now smoother than ever. Only negative was some dents on the trigger pin hole because the pin was hard to remove on my MkIIIs.
G19 for personal carry which a long slide would be inappropriate. Or a Taurus PT92 which I hear is soft recoiling and has a safety/decocker feature. Am in the process of getting one to compliment my G19.
A 12ga shotgun is still a necessary tool. Sort of the last layer of defense so to...
I saw a Bul Cherokee 9mm in a gun store near our office.
Could someone give me their comments on this pistol.
I has a polymer frame with reversed rails like a CZ75. Metal magazine holds 17 rounds. Has a left side safety like a CZ75 but no decocker.
Thanks.
By design, I think it would be impossible for the BHP to fire out of battery. The linkage of the sear and trigger would not align until the slide is fully forward.
That is what looks like from my own BHP.
Thanks guys for the feedback.
BulletFan: I talked to the Taurus dealer and they told me that the frames are the same except for the finish. The difference is in the slide and barrel which is stainless steel in one and blued carbon steel in the other.
Does anyone have any info on the...
Yup the magazines have stamped on the side "Made in Brazil".
They are original Taurus magazines in a shrink wrap with a carton backing.
I will try to get some based on your recommendations.
