In my Chinese AK, the gas tube has 8 small holes on the gas tube. 2 4-rows on the front part of the gas tube. Yours seems to have 4 holes around where the gas tube is connected.

I had my magazine safety spring reduced to lessen the weight and grittiness on the trigger. This weekend, I had my gunsmith remove the magazine safety altogether and it is now smoother than ever. Only negative was some dents on the trigger pin hole because the pin was hard to remove on my MkIIIs.

I saw a Bul Cherokee 9mm in a gun store near our office. Could someone give me their comments on this pistol. I has a polymer frame with reversed rails like a CZ75. Metal magazine holds 17 rounds. Has a left side safety like a CZ75 but no decocker. Thanks.

By design, I think it would be impossible for the BHP to fire out of battery. The linkage of the sear and trigger would not align until the slide is fully forward. That is what looks like from my own BHP.

Yup the magazines have stamped on the side "Made in Brazil". They are original Taurus magazines in a shrink wrap with a carton backing. I will try to get some based on your recommendations.
