I have a 638 - just shot it. And my wife shoots a 642. They are both great. I sport mine in a AIWB made by Rhome Desbien.

I too would sell the Glock and get the compact. Like you, I really like AIWB carry and do it most of the time. The only time I do not is typically when it is colder and I carry a full size 1911 at 4:00 with a jacket or vest. I love compacts and sub-compacts and they work great for appendix carry.

I have a 642 but for some reason, this is more comfortable to shoot than the 642 - so this is my daily carry (in summer). I carry it in a Desbiens Gun Leather appendix holster (great rig and great guy to deal with).

I've had this problem with bigger devices in the past for a long time now. I am surprised no one makes a case with a clip for thick belts. Do cops or EMT types need to clip a cell phone on their belt?
