    Comparing the Springfield XD to the Glock...

    I'm wondering if they think you mean using your thumb to hold the slide in battery from the back of the slide, which would obviously do some serious damage to your thumb when the slide recoils.

    What is your everyday carry set-up?

    One more reason I love living in New Hampshire...Dropped my pistol permit application off at the town pd on Tuesday, 12/29. Received permit Monday, 1/4. Only reason it took that long was the chief was on vacation last week.
