I've shot both, and then some. Pedersoli is by far, my favorite. Price point, quality, and accuracy.

I've owned many Pedersoli's....mostly Sharps and one Mortimer... My one Middlesex Village Trading Co's Indian made gun is the most accurate gun out of the box that I have owned. It's a Ketland and I managed to redo the lock, stock and barrel to make it more than acceptable to my standards...

Before you take it out to shoot.... Give the barrel a good cleaning. You want to get out any oil that was used in the manufacturing process. A good degreaser and a few drying patches should do the trick. Now you've got a dry barrel. At this point it would be wise to run a jag with bore butter...
