    Stuck media in .223 cases

Chiggins I feel your pain I did the exact same thing! I used the corn cob lizard litter. It worked great for all my pistol brass. Then I decided to dump some 223 in there. The corn cob media shined up the brass great but like you said Gus. The big pieces got stuck in the neck. How in the heck...

He was shooting a Ruger 10/22 @ 50 yards 1 mag he was 10 yrs old. He got me for $ 48.00. We walked up to the target he said...

Not sure some of the powder I inherited is good

bds Thank you for the detailed information. I had no idea that it could just ignite on it's own I think it will become plant food. But before I do my Uncle said no way he wants to look at it first. So that will be on him if he wants to use it.

Not sure some of the powder I inherited is good

Actually I went in the kitchen and gave the vinegar a smell. The smell of the powder is not near as strong smelling as the vinegar. But it does smell different than BD, H 335, 2400, PP. I really wouldn't say vinegar but it's got a different smell maybe I'm just a little over cautious. What is...

Not sure some of the powder I inherited is good

I was given 2 1lbs containers of AA# 5 & # 7 1 of each has been opened. All of these powders are 1 lbs WSF, WST, W231, Longshot, TG, W296 and a few more. Anyway they where stored on a window sill in a day light basement with a window shade pulled down in front of the window. The basement was...

Agree or Disagree with 'Gun Sanctuaries'?

Olddog I live on the other side of the mountain. The side that most of us voted against i1639 I agree how can they have sanctuary for illegal immigrants and illegal drugs? And make it harder for law abiding citizens to own firearms. On this side of the mountain we have 12 sheriff's that have...

Walkalong This is a little of the topic but I couldn't resist. I couldn't help noticing your case gage I use those as well. Anyway those are made in Cashmere Washington right down the road from where I live. In just a tiny little shop and a very good gunsmith used to right behind his shop. But...

Need more help 40 s&w Lee FCD

I think might be doing over kill. I'm using the FCD and checking the rounds. I'm going take the FCD out of the 4th hole and only use it on the round that don't pass.

bihj I have asked myself the same question. The answer is insurance that it will chamber So is the Dia 0.4.23 that critical? But the thing is I check all my round before I box them. Like Walkalong says some people like to not have check their rounds.

Need more help 40 s&w Lee FCD

Cougar1717 I have my bullet seating die set to crimp so I'm doing all in one. They would pass the plunk & spin in the barrel. I just had the FCD in for insurance for that occasional round that wouldn't chamber. So now I'm either going to just seat and use the FCD to crimp not sure yet. What is...
