I tried them in my 870. I can load, cycle and eject them fine but when you shoot one the empty shell hangs up when ejecting them.

Did any catch the part about Mexico having the some of the toughest gun laws in the world??? Also in the 60 minutes th show aired not a peep about sealing off the border?????? Writing to the show also.

I like when you look at "lower end" 1911s and the salesman says they suck you really need the 1000 dollar gun. At that point I ask why they sell the cheaper ones. I would and have said stuff to dealers trying to rip people off.

I don't frequent gun shops here that much since I usually buy when a "to good to pass up" deal comes along. If I see someone lying trying to rip someone off I say something especially at shows.

Have you guys that use coach guns ever tried the Aguila mini shotgun shells? I was thinking of going to a coach gun for this very reason less muzzle blast in a house.

Thanks Lee I'm also using an 870 Magnum. I got the same results with the S&B 00 also. I also tried Winchester 2 3/4 00 and it spread a little more then the Remington did. I've decided to stick with the Remington for a good compromise.

I recently patterned some 00 buck loads at home defense distances. Which for me is about 11 steps or 33 feet. One of the rounds I tested was 2 3/4 Federal Premium LE with the flight control wad. I only got about a 2 in spread from this load. Would this be to tight? I also tested Remington 2 3/4...

I had a M500 a year ago and sold it. I just picked up a used 870 Police Magnum with a wood stock for $250. The 870 is a way nicer and better shooting and feeling gun. I would though still get a 500 if I found a good deal on a used one.

Whats a good price to pay for an older model? Gun I was looking at is great condition. A little wear on a couple spots nothing bad looking. I think the guy was asking $460. Local pawn shop has one for 499.
