    Go over to the Maverick site and look for replacement barrels. They have a 28 inch clay barrel for the eight shot persuader. IT is all the way at the bottom of the page. 135 $.

    THe first four are 1727. My grandmother actually put it together and gave it to my uncle who then gave it to me. We live in CT and have a couple of relatives who work thier. I will someday pass it to my son.

    Just the gold trigger is the only differ ? I have a Orig Golden 39A and I do not have a gold trigger. My uncle bought it and passed it on to me so we are the only two people to ever own it. I wonder why mine does not have it ?

    Oh wow thats bad. Thats what I wanted to know. Then I will pass. It seemed like a nice shotgun for 299 but I will just look around. I would be pissed if it broke after so little rounds . Thanks.

    I was in Dick's and they have Stoger Condor over unders for 299. Are they any good ? I would like to get a over under but do not need to spend big bucks for it. It would be used in the field and to shoot some clay's.

    I know I saw that for the Rems but I have a Mossberg 500 and they do not have any youth stocks. It sucks becasue it is alot cheeper than the 65 $ I have seen on all the other sites....... I have looked alot of places. I can not see paying that much for a youth stock.

    Oh that is awesome....I never would think to use Froogle. I would like one of those slug barrels for my Persuader. :)

    I think the Mossberg 500 persuader is a nice shotgun. Only thing is I think you are stuck with the barrel it comes with becasue of the 8 round tube.I dont think longer or slug barrels come with it ???
