    What is light & fast or slow & heavy?

    Simple. Any bullet weighing 200 gr or more is heavy. Any handgun bullet with a MV of 1000 fps or less is slow. Any rifle bullet with a MV below 2400 fps is slow. My definitions, they work for me, YMMV.

    Has the NRA effected you in such a way as to increase or decrease your gun ownership

    I won a Kimber model 84 rifle at a Friends of the NRA benefit dinner a few years ago, so I guess it is safe to say that NRA contributed to my ownership of at least one additional gun.
