I've an Encore with 30-06 bbl and 50 cal muzzle loader bbl - always planned to get more barrels and also a Contender setup, but that is going to require more searching the used racks now. The Encore is aseriously strong/overbuilt firearm - maybe not as sexy as some, but it always shot well for me

I've had the same issues with the Tuffproducts strips - even ones that simply sat in a sock drawer for most of their life, split and crumbled the 2nd time I put them into a pocket and went for a walk. Going with Bianchi only from now on!

The sights are about right for 230-255 grain loads at 800fps. Lighter loads or faster loads will shoot low
