Trijicon Acupoint on DG gun compared to illuminated VXIII

Zak Smith did an article on fighting optics and wrote a short blob on the accupoint. Here is the link below: http://demigodllc.com/articles/fighting-carbine-optics-short-guide/ he said, "Of the fixed-power Type II optics, the TA11 ACOG is the best choice. It provides a little more eye relief...

Stuck on which Tikka T3 rifle to pick...

I looked up their website and they stated that only the rifles they are importing are the ones they are offering. It seems implied that they cannot/will not import chamberings they feel are not popular.

Stuck on which Tikka T3 rifle to pick...

Dear THR members, I am stuck on which Tikka T3 rifle to get. I want to get a left handed rifle 6.5x55, but Beretta USA does not import that left handed version only the right hand. Should I get the .30-06 T3 in left hand and rebarrel to 6.5x55? or Should I get .308 T3 in left hand and maybe...

Is the Tikka T3 Lite 7mm-08 Available in a Left Hand Version?

Tikka makes a 6.5x55 in left hand, but Beretta USA does not import it so I, Living in the U.S. can not get it. If you live in the states, then you can only get what Beretta USA imports from Tikka, as they are the sole distributors for Sako and Tikka. I'm stuck on the same boat as you. I want a...

    Optics-To-Rifle-Cost Ratio

It really depends on what you want to do. I want to do long range target shooting in to the smallest groups possible. I spent a little more for a scope so that I can use it for other applications. Right now I'm in the process of having a U.S. Optics ST-10 made. Yes the scope costs alittle more...

    What rifle fills this need

You could do $1800-1900 for something that can reach out to 800 yds +. I am going with a Tikka T3 lite SS in 6.5x55, has better ballistics than a .308 and less recoil. I am going with a U.S Optics ST-10 fixed 10x scope you can go with an US Optics SN3 for about $1900 that has 3-17x . the rifle...

    Left handed bolt action

+1 on Tikka, They make excellent rifles with a super smooth action. That IS going to be my next rifle. I looked into Remington 700 actions for their parts availability, but have since decided to go with Tikka, their synthetic stock isn't shabby and it has a detachable mag system already oh all...
