What do you think of these Big Bore 30-06, .338 Lapua, and .50 Beowolf? Both the 30-06 and the .50 are AR platform rifles. The .338 is a modified platform. Something to have in your personal collection?

I was wondering if anyone has heard of MILTAC Industries AR's. They are basically a custom builder of high end AR's with all high quality parts. Anyone have one, shoot one, or have even seen them? What did you think of them...

I found a solution to my Illinois Problem last year when I moved to Texas. Now I have a CHL (Concealed Handgun License) and a 01/FFL (Federal Firearms License) I shoot at a friends back yard. He lives outside city limits and has about a mile of empty land behind him. No more Illinois ;-)

I recently received my 01 FFL and am starting a small business (soon to be online, via Web store, Gun Broker (already) and Transfer Business in my home office. I am asking about what accounting system (ie QuickBooks Online, Pro, etc ?) others have used and are happy with. Prefer a low overall cost.

I'm moving to Texas and have outgrown my steel cabinets and want to move up to safes. Should I get one vary large safe or two medium safes one for rifles and one for handguns. What do those who have a large collection do? Also any good places to buy safes at the best possible price near Dallas?

For those with limited realestate try the Strike Industries Cobra Tactical Fore Grip Its only 4" long VS Magpuls 5.25". Nice little AFG for about $25.

The sights are from Black Rifle Tactical and they are the Quick Transition Tactical Sights.. Haven't shoot with them yet but I thought the theory made sense. It uses AR Mags - the 20rd hold (7) .50 Beowulf Rds and the 30's hold (10).

Im on my way to the Gunshow tomorrow to find the right rings for my Nikon Slughunter and the Beowulf will be complete - at least for now :-). For those of you who have never seen this beast up close here is a comparison of the muzzle to a quarter.

I'm in the middle of a build for a .50 Beowulf and I'm a picky sob also. I did find a 2 piece Quad rail on Gunbroker that fits rock solid.

For those that have shot the Beowolf. Whats the recoild like compared to a 308 AR if you've shot both that is....

True Anderson Arms is the only Manf of the ammo but its around $1.50-$2.50 rd as opposed to $2.50-$3.50 rd for .458 SOCOM which is not much more available. Although the .458 can be used in a std AR mag? I believe the Beowolf is a dedicated mag? Any other experiences?
