Do you have a Kitchen Aid mixer? If so, they make a sausage grinder/stuffer attachment for it. I've been using that for maybe 20 years now, and it's awesome, especially for the lower production levels like 5 to 10 lbs.

If you've never done it, take it out and see how much crud is in there. Figure out how many rounds or trips to the field it took to generate that much crud, and clean accordingly. As others have stated, I too was a bit surprised by how much powder and gunk built up in there.

I have a similar problem, and poison is one of the methods I'm using in an attempt to control these vermin. One thing that bugs me though, is that I can't tell if I'm making any progress, I never see any dead bodies. Do they come up to die when you poison them? Or do they stay in the ground...

Even if there are no commercially viable gaps, each year, a firearm or ammo manufacturer will try to create a gap so they can sell into it. And if there's something you want that's not profitable for a major company to make, there's custom shops. Anything is available for the right price.

:rofl: Absolutely not looking for your opinion on what you think others should think about wear on a pistol. That finish protects bare metal from rust...which is very important in my environment.

Sometimes fun, sometimes relaxing, sometimes a chore. Sometimes I clean after the range, sometimes I don't. If I got rained on a bunch while shooting or hunting, it's more of a chore simply because I have to do so much more of a thorough job getting to everything that got wet.
