Help ! 32/20 WCF Logged in 1895 Russian Nagant Revolver

The 32/20 inserted easily into the Nagant cylinder, and rotated around to the barrel, but lacked about 1/16 " or so to chamber. I could disassemble the cylinder assembly, starting with the screw over cylinder rod holder, to remove the rod then the cylinder, but I am really antsy about difficult...

Colt 1911 .45 ACP 200th Annirversary Springfield Armory Commerative

I failed to mention that my wife gave me one for Christmas, somewhere around 20+ years ago. She paid approximately $ 600 + tax for NIB. I'd say that was a pretty good deal, wouldn't you ? I have shot less than 50 rounds, without a breaking in time period. It never jammed, and functioned...

Colt 1911 .45 ACP 200th Annirversary Springfield Armory Commerative

I.have examined a Colt 1911, as per the above title, but cannot find any reference to it in the 38th Edition of the Blue Book of Gun Values (2017). It is a Series 80 with beautiful shiny bluing, gold inlaying, rosewood grips, and flat mainspring housing. Serial # SFLDA 07xx. Anybody able to...

    S&W M&P Early Model .38 Special and +P Ammo

I might mention (for safety reasons) that the pre-1945 models should not be carried with a.loaded round hammer down.Dropping it with a loaded round could cause it to discharge. Carry on an empty chamber.

    S&W M&P Early Model .38 Special and +P Ammo

I think what most are saying, is that since +P was introduced, they have lowered the loading now to what was nearer the standard load. You won't blow up the gun, but you might loosen the screws and fittings with a steady diet of +P. For guns shot less often, like in a drawer beside the bed, it...

    S&W M&P Early Model .38 Special and +P Ammo

Is it safe to fire .38 Sp. +P ammo in S&W M&P models made in or about 1940 or 1941 ? If not, what type ammo is safe? Thanks.:)

    Custom 1895 Russian Nagant Parts

OOOOPS ! I have an addendum to the above (#17) posting. I finally got the 3/8" screw nut to fire DA (with more ease). It was a 1941 Tula.:) Then I tried the same size nut in my 1943 Izhevsk. No go. It wouldn't go SA or DA at all.:( I removed the nut from the Izhevsk. It worked normally SA...
