My original comment to my friend was "Uhhh I think these will make 2 really nice paper weights."
Yet he kept asking how much it would cost to repair. I think they hold a certain sentimental value for him. Although I will probably convince him to keep them in a nonworking condition and...
here is the specific NCSTAR I am referring to. It has the bullet drop compensator for the .223 as does the ACOG.

Is the only difference that the NCSTAR uses bateries for illumination while the ACOG has tritium? Or does the ACOG allow for aiming with both eyes open while the NCSTAR does not? Is NCSTAR waterproof? Thanks if anyone knows.
Thanks
Well that's not what I was hoping to hear but it is what I expected. Whats fair is fair even if I don't like it. I feel better knowing certain LEO's can't easily bring MGs to the range anyway. I knew I would be stepping in hot water by asking this question but I'm a strait forward guy...
Yea you caught me! Guilty as charged on never firing or taking apart a belt fed weapon. I did see a picture of a belt fed M16 and it just started my daydreaming. (Hanks for the advice.
As a citizen of general public, I could tell you every gun one could buy and what was restricted. I know that certain weapons and post ban FA are restricted to LE and Military only (except certain dealers ok). Recently I took a job with a local PD and now I'm a Detention officer (class 2...
With such cheap prices on the Romak-3 I'm thinking of buying two and experimenting with one. I'd like to make a heavy assault rifle from the sniper platform. Will shortening the barrel to the gas tube cause a malfunction with cycling another round due to a loss of pressure? This doesn't seem...
Just came across this thread from a search. Has anyone experimented with sabot rounds in the 7.62x25? I've heard of people firing .22 from the brass and reaching impressive velocities. I would like to know where to buy the sabots.
Hahaha I got a laugh out of this one! My mistake, I typed this too fast for my own good. I do mean on the rim of the rimfire cartridge. I am absolutely sure the p22 is assembled correctly as I have 2 and only this one will not fire. It is likely that the gunlock has been engaged. I'll test...
Brand new gun. Fired it a few times, field stripped and reassembled. Now it will not fire. There are no marks on the bullets. Is this more likely to be a headspacing issue, or the safety not completely disengaging? Or possibly another issue? Thanks if anyone has had this problem.
