A good .22 is tough to beat

A couple of military veterans - Mossberg M44US, dated 43 and 44. These rifles helped a significant number of Boy Scouts get their Rifle Shooting Merit badge.

    Targets/Backstop for .22lr

FWIW, years back I did a penetration test of .22 using 3/4" pine boards and shooting from 15 feet, Federal bulk .22 made it through 4 boards (3" of pine) and stopped at the 5th.

Home Air Gun Range......There's An App For That. :D

Very nice range. Much nicer than mine and I only have 10 yards. Still, it works for me and comes in handy during the Michigan winters. I like your camera setup.

    Remanufactured Ammo versus Reloaded Ammo

Have shot a decent amount of 3D and never had a problem. Good ammo for the price.

Red dot sight on springer or gas piston

Yeah, I had a Vortex Crossfire on my air rifle. I bought the Hawke so I could put the Crossfire back on a .22. The Hawke seems to work fine, especially for the price. Anyway, the Hawke has a 2 year warranty and is less than 1/2 the price of another Crossfire, so not much of a gamble.

Red dot sight on springer or gas piston

I decided to try the Hawkes so bought a Hawke Vantage Red Dot. It mounts directly on the air rifle (no weaver to 11mm rail adapter needed). Had a $20 off Pyramid Air coupon for doing a survey, so got it for $60. Sighted it in yesterday and recommend it. I'm a big fan of Vortex, but the Hawke is...

Ammo shortage, are you see more or less shooters at the range and matches?

Same here. Haven't been to the club in awhile but that is due to my lack of motivation to sit outside in very cold weather. Especially true when I can make the trip down to my basement and satisfy the urge with an air rifle.

    1895 Nagant Revolver

Yeah, I bought one for the princely sum of $49.87 shipped. Wish I had bought a few more. I take mine out once in awhile for plinking. The better deals back then were the $100 EG Maks. Oh, for a time machine.

Red dot sight on springer or gas piston

FWIW, I contacted Vortex and the response was that all their optics are rated for air rifles. I have been very satisfied with my Vortex red dots.

Red dot sight on springer or gas piston

Hawke makes red dot sights for both Weaver mounting and 9-11mm rails. Take a look at the Hawke Vantage series. I doubt they would make their red dots with 9-11mm mounts if they were inappropriate for airguns. PyramidAir carries a number of red dots including the Hawke. Today I mounted a Vortex...

    Enfield rifle identification help

Agree the first sentence may be the most logical. If the trigger is actually attached to the receiver (and the MK1 stock modified to accommodate the change) then the Mk2 marking makes some sense. Third world local mod? Not done by the Brits though. Bottom line - no way to really know at this...
