Sig P238 Owners: What's your take?

I sold my P32, thinking I would get a .380, but discovered the Sig P938. I got it, because I'd rather have 9mm instead of .380. It is just slightly larger than the P238. It's still small enough to carry in the pocket in loose jeans.

What size 1911 do you prefer for carry?

I have two 1911s - a Colt Defender, and a Kimber Combat Carry, but I prefer to carry my new Sig P938 (It will be a 1911 when it grows up). It is not so heavy, and doesn't print as easily as the bigger ones.

    Kel-Tec P32 opinions?

Very popular, right now. I just sold mine, to finance another new gun, and had two offers to drive 150+ miles to buy it (after it was already sold). Never had a problem with mine, but wanted a 9mm, instead.

Question: Saxet Gun Show in Austin

I'm going. Probably will see the 'entrepreneur' who's been showing up at WalMart every morning and buying up ALL the ammo to sell at the show for three times what he paid for it.

    XDs 9mm is here

Well, I love it, but I have to qualify that statement with the fact that I haven't fired it yet. I hope I still love it later. But, as for size, and aesthetics, it's fantastic - just what I was looking for. Several problems have been reported with it, but the guys with problems are the only...

    XDs 9mm is here

I looked at the XDs and the P938 for a new carry. I got the Sig because it is smaller, and 9mm cost less to play with than .45 does. Already have a couple of .45 anyway. If the XDs 9mm had been out, I'm not sure what I would have chosen.

    P938 dry-firing

Well, my thumb is sore, but the trigger feels better to me. Is there some way/place to measure the pull, without buying something? Maybe a good fish scale at the sporting goods store? Hmmmm, public place. Any other ideas?

    P938 dry-firing

Store was out of 9mm, but I got some .380 instead. That should work. Bet my thumb will be sore after a while. (Hope there's no Executive Order tomorrow, making dry-firing illegal.) ;-)

    P938 dry-firing

OK. Thanks for the ideas. Oops, my snap caps are .45s. I'll have to go get some.

    P938 dry-firing

Dry firing 500+ times would be considerably easier without the snap caps ejecting...I think I have about 3 snap caps. Maybe I could carve a notch in one of them, so it won't be caught by the ejector, and then rotate it to get it out. Anyone ever tried that?

    P938 dry-firing

Snap caps will do what? Protect the firing pin?

    P938 dry-firing

Hi. I'm new here. First post. Discovered the forum via a search. I'm the proud new owner of a Sig P938. (Big grin...my smilies don't seem to work.) One of the posters here said his P938, which started out with a trigger pull of about 9 lbs, worked its way down to about 5.75 lbs after 500...
