I live in CA - looking for a good smith to cut down the barrel of my CZ 22LR - its the 452 American 22.5 inches / prefere a 18 or 20" barrel what would you expect the charge to cut/crown??

Tired of my Rifle sights, want to go to ghost rings... Heard that the 870 has had problems with the rear ghost ring coming/breaking off if bumped or dropped????????????? In your opinion, who make the best set up for the 870???

You are looking for a great gun,,, I had several back in the late 70's and as most people here, wish I had them back - if you are interested in the "dirty harry" style - Only the 6.5 inch will do - I agree all shoot great but as you will see - the 6.5 inch blue in the presentation box will hold...

What mods do you suggest for a New 870P (rifle sights) - I am going to use this weapon in three gun matches - looking for Mods that would assist in (100% functions and making the weapon run as smooth as possible) - Looking nice is one thing - but if it will not run... its just an anchor...

only the 870P Max is shorter... I did get a Youth stock but would prefer to keep the org with the new pad if possible... Just checking here to see if anyone has already tried this idea...

forgot to add, this gun has the new recoil pad http://www.remington.com/accessories/factory_parts/r3.htm looks to be somewhat softer??? any experence out there with working this pad to a shorter stock??

OK,,, I would like to shorten my syn 870 stock.... once th stock is cut (one inch shorter) what is the best way to "fit" the recoil pad...
