1Blindf,
They did a nice job on refinishing your piece. It is quite the looker now.
USFBull,
You have to determine what your pistol is going to be used for. If it is to be a carry piece, you will need something small and compact like the Sig P232 or the (and my favorite) the S&W 642...
Tia,
My 642-2 does not spark when I dry fire it. Neither does any of my Sig Saurs or my beretta.
JT1,
I had also missed that thread too. Thanks for the link to the sparking 442 thread. We should probably modify the first post on this thread to start collecting FAQs about these little...
Got Nills for P232
Blindref,
That picture of the my P232 was taken after my first time out on the range with it. Since then I have replaced the grips with the Nills from Sig. Got them at close-out prices. Guess I will need to take a picture of my whole wooden gripped family soon.
:)
Headless,
Get the laser grips and there is no need to worry about night sights. The bullet will follow the little red dot.
*whispering* Now tell me about the little auto. Does it have a huge kick? Does it bite the hand that feeds it? Is it DA and SA?
Here is a picture of my club...
Beretta 92FS
Well I have owned it for several years and go to the range once a week with it. Putting 140 rounds through it every week, I have never had a misfire or any problems with it. It is a beautiful and reliable weapon. My recommendation, the Beretta 92FS:
I am never worried about a home evasion when I am at home or at a friend's house, but I am prepared. I am never worried about some BG hiding behind the tree or corner when I am walking up or leaving my friends house, but I am prepared. I am never worried about being attacked while walking a...
Just out of curiosity, why did S&W make the trigger so ugly on the little snubbie? I wish it was shiny or the same color as the pistol. I am always thinking I did not clean it good enough or that it is rusting.
Lonestar,
I have totally fallen in love with this gun. Like I said, I have never shot a gun so accurately right out of the box. My Beretta is deadly accurate now but it took me a bit of learning and trigger control. Of course the guys at the range said it was just that I am learning more...
I posted this in the Sig thread as well but I am so happy with it, I just had to show off my new baby here too. Bought her on Thursday. Took her out to the range on Friday. Here is a picture of the first shots out of this gun:
This was at 20 yards (the closest our gun range allows)...
P232 ~ New Baby
Just wanted to show off my new baby. Bought her on Thursday. Took her out to the range on Friday. Here is a picture of the first shots out of this gun:
This was at 20 yards (the closest our gun range allows). This is by far the most accurate little gun I have shot...
This is by far my hardest gun to reassemble. I curse it every time I have to put it back together. I love its accuracy but hate to strip it. And yes I follow the instructions to the letter but still end up struggling every time.
My other guns are a dream to strip and clean, Beretta 92FS...
mpmarty,
Your logic would be correct if every Taurus owner who had a broken gun and sent it to be fixed were on this forum or included in your 12K estimate. However since that is not true, then neither is your 1% estimate. Since the only stats we have are the people that visit this...
