Anyone hear if Hodgdons has stopped making H414? It's not listed in their small give-away load pamphlet, what up with that?

I have a CZ P-07 Duty. The chamber is short, heard this about CZs, so must make COL shorter then manuals suggest, any problem with this? Also, when doing plunk test the cartridge does not always freefall out, may need a little shake of barrel then it drops freely. Have had no noticable problems...

The 270, with 130 gr bullets, handloaded to "group" in your gun is one heck of a cartridge to beat......not that it can't, but for the average shooter/hunter it's all ya need. Old Cactus Jack O'C sure convinced me the 270 was all I needed, just sayin'!

Still remember that day, Lee Hammer Slammer for my 270, this was in the 1970's, very nervous about squeezing that trigger.....but first round @ 100 yds was a dead center bullseye, that did it for me, been reloading ever since.....270, 30-06, 9mm and 44 mag, great hobby!

When I load for my 44 mag I seat & crimp with seater die, with my 9mm loads I use seater die, then crimp die. But....this is strange, when seating the 9mm bullets I seat shorter then I want, then crimp & they "grow" to proper COL!! Why, I don't know but method works great & they shoot great.

I have the Speer #10 myself.....always thought that guy looked like actor Steve Forrest, not grumpy just concentrating on the target. Wonder who the guy is? Anyone know?
