    I just recieved a Hi-Point 9mm for free, and I don't know whether to shoot it or hammer nails with it. It is the ugliest, most ungainly, poorly made pistol I have ever seen! I swear it weighs 8 lbs! I am going to sell it for $80 and now I can't honestly say I've never owned a Hi-Point.:what:

    Either a Beretta 92fs in 9mm or a Beretta 96 or Cougar in 40cal, because the quality is excellent and they function flawlessly with good ammo.

    Whichever one you choose, they are both excellent handguns. I own a Beretta 92fs, so I am partial to them, but I also like Hk's.

    If you can afford it, go with the genuine article, the Beretta 92fs, not a cheap immitation from South America.:evil:

    Beretta 9000s 9mm. You can use the 10 or 12 round mags for the 9000s, or buy a mag adapter from BerettaUSA to use 15 round 92 mags in the 9000s.

    Thoughts on the Beretta 3032 Tomcat.

    I recently purchased a Beretta 3032 Tomcat Inox for a CCW, and I have had nothing but flawless performance with it so far. I have been shooting UMC fmj for practice, and carry Speer Gold dot 60 gr jhp for defence.I only carry it when I need a smaller gun, otherwise I carry a Beretta 9000s 9mm...

    A Beretta Centurion is a very reliable .40 cal with great fit and finish, or a Beretta 96.

    Taurus Beretta 92 copy

    Go with the Beretta. I have not been impressed with any Taurus. Also, the mags are not interchangable. I also like the safety on the slide with the Beretta.
