Putting a little more power in a $15.00 Daisy

I'm using the match grade Daisy BBs. Don't have a chronograph but there's a very audible difference when they hit, compared to pre-Red Ryder spring.

Putting a little more power in a $15.00 Daisy

Update on my zeroing issue. Removed and reinstalled the rear sight and all is well. Best I can figure I didn't have fastened all the way down. Looked okay but now it's punching the center out at 5 yards, with authority.

Putting a little more power in a $15.00 Daisy

After reading all these posts I decided to put a late model RR spring in my 499B to up the fps. I don't have a chronograph but it's definitely hitting harder. After doing the mod it;s hitting high at 5 yards and I've got the elevation all the way down. Had to glue and extension to the post sight...

Putting a little more power in a $15.00 Daisy

My un-modded Model 25 would just make birds just ruffle their feathers, like a minor irritant. This was in the 1960s.

Garage plinking, short range joy. (The Budweiser sessions, lol)

I call my 853 my "mood enhancer." Feeling bored or a little down? Get the 853 out in my basement and stack pellets. Works every time.

    I need a trap

Scrap lumber and duct seal, one for the basement[pictured] and one for outside.

    New HW50S

I always clean the barrel before firing the 1st time. Took about 10 patches to clean the factory gunk out. Scope is mounted and zeroed at basement range [10 yards.] Need a nice day to get outside.

    New HW50S

Just got it from Krale yesterday. Wife is/was in holiday decorating mode so I only had time to clean the barrel and try a few shots. A Hawke 2-7AO scope and moint come tomorrow.

    2300T and Red Dot

Shot it last week with one of my grandsons, had no problem hitting what we were shooting at[his old model cars]. roughly 10 yards.

Quiet enough The Warden has trouble hearing it upstairs. Might be okay outdoors depending on how close your neighbors are.

    2300T and Red Dot

Put a red dot on my 2300T using a riser I already had. Looks a little top heavy but I can still use the iron sights if need be. The target is my sighting in target beginning with the 1st hit at 6oclock followed by my adjustments. Shot at basement range[9 yards] with Crosman 7.4 Wadcutters.

    New 2300T

Picked this up a few days ago,got it dialed in pretty good with Crosman 7.4 WCs. Might need to scope or red dot it,these 69 year old eyes are having a tough time.

    So Do Airguns Multiply???

Yes,they do! I directly blame Septicdeath[who posts on here] for one of the rifles pictured.

    Crosman 1377

Do yourself a favor and don't look at a vendors website with accessories and aftermarket parts for a 1377/1322. It's a rabbit hole which will suck you in.o_O

    Playing catch-up

I've had rotator cuff and bicep tenodesis surgery and the R7 is a dream to operate indoors and short range in the back yard.
