If you are looking at a safe that big, you may consider building
a vault room. Concrete blocks with a heavy door, made to look like a
closet and not a safe.
Remember the bad guys do not want to go into a area where they could
be trapped. that is basements or second floors of a house.
Duh, was the shooter using reloads???
Or did he drop a 20 gauge shell down the tube first?
Saying a gun blows up with out the back story is nothing but hearsay!!
It is just like saying a damascus barrel will uncoil like a spring. Since W.W. Greener has done blowup tests.
The big plus with pin tumbling is the inside of the case's are cleaned!
I had 50 45 Colt that looked great outside BUT after pulling the bullets
tthe inside looked like very old drain pipe..
I do not want any of that crud going down the barrel.
I will use a brush that has oil on it to lube case necks when resizing. That small amount of oil
ease's the passing of the expander ball when pulling the case out of the resizing die.
BUT my cases are washed to remove any oil or resizing lube from them.
Using oil/lube when seating bullets, that...
Why not a safe that works like a pet door.
The door reads the implanted chip in the cat/dog and door opens.
The chip could be implanted or placed in a ring, the door of the safe will unlock
when the implant is placed on a location on the safe.
First use gun socks on all of your guns. Second take out the plastic barrel dividers.
Third store some guns muzzle down.
Harbor Freight has a magnetic tool holder that should be able to hold hand guns.
If you go to estate sales, many times there are small travel bags very much
like range bags. Several zippered pockets and one or two large
compartments.
They can be had for cheap!
If you research "Winchester" you will find out that it was a shirt manufacturer.
And many of the "Winchester" famous guns were actually designed by
John M. Browning!!
