I understand selling a gun that is in high demand and low supply at higher prices, but selling a used glock at $550 when I buy one new for $490 from my local dealer is puzzling to me.
Why would anyone consider a .22 for self defense? You should always choose the largest caliber that you can handle. .380, 38 special, and 9mm are very reasonable recoiling rounds.
