    Why hate Freedom Group?

I worked for a company that was bought out. I saw a lot of changes, some I agreed with, others I didn't. We got a lot of support in changing manufacturing processes to make them more streamlined and lean, which was good. We got a lot of product out. But material quality went down...

Boycotts and doing the Anti's dirty work for them

As a former employee of the Freedom Group "Family" of companies, I can tell you that they very much live month to month, and the idea of being flush with cash is foreign to them. They are ALWAYS hungry, and the root cause of any drop off of sales that is not in lock step with the rest of the...

Proprietary barrel nut for bushmaster ar15 C15

Your best bet would probably be to make a spanner wrench for it, or maybe just stick two pins in the little holes on the barrel nut and find a way to put some torque on them. They should only be around 15-20 ft/lbs. Be careful though, they sometimes used some loctite on the carbon barrel...

http://bangordailynews.com/2013/02/15/news/state/editors-note-bdn-rescinds-request-for-records-of-concealed-weapon-permit-holders/ They rescinded the request. They are ever so disappointed that the residents of Maine told them exactly what they thought of that move.

    Firearms Made From 3-D Printers.

I dislike how it is portrayed as a whole gun. He printed a lower receiver and a mag body. Congratulations. He's not doing anything that machinists haven't been doing themselves for many many years. Print me an upper that can contain 62,000 psi of force. That would impress the hell out of me.

    Bushmaster to reopen Windham facility

No, that is not what that article says. Cerberus, the current owner of Freedom group, owned the finance division of the chrysler company.

    Bushmaster to reopen Windham facility

Hopefully Windham Weaponry can make its own name without being associated with the current incarnation of Bushmaster Firearms, it would be sad to see a company full of talented and dedicated employees have live down Remington’s mishandling of the Marlin and Bushmaster brands.

    Magpul Dynamics

The Masada had a gas system that ate rings up like a cheerios commercial and needed a complete redesign, not to mention it would have been their first foray into manufacturing firearms. Their 1500 price point was wishful thinking, they were just smart enough to dump the project off for cash and...

    Bushmaster Plant Closing

Windham plant was not a Union facility. Sorry to dampen your self-righteous rhetoric. Please continue.
