Does your Hornady Lock and Load do this?

Can you tell us what parts are required to do this? I think mine is due for this fix. Brilliant fix by the way! I love it!

Girlfriend and friends bought me a press... (she's a keeper)

Awesome! From lessons I learned, I now strongly recommend a case gauge (Wilson, dillon, etc) for checking case to shoulder dimension (headspace being the mirror image dimension in the gun's chamber) for bottle neck rifle rounds. The calipers will be a needed tool to use with these gauges.

^ I also put a split washer on the shellplate bolt! It does help with that.

    Hornady LNL Prep Advice

This thread at this other forum has invaluable information for the LNL AP press. If you do this method it will correct case tilt in station 5 and also results in better priming. I also felt that the ergo handle made by Inline Fabrication was well worth it, as was their larger bin. If you...

Alternative tumbling media to remove lube?

Thanks medalguy! It sounds like ceramic isn't a great choice in this case. I ordered some more corncob. I used to use flitz polish and a dryer sheet. I will have to try a bit of mineral spirits.

Alternative tumbling media to remove lube?

Good to know, thanks! Anyone try using ceramic media for purposes or removing lube? Or would it just redistribute it? I've never used it before.

Alternative tumbling media to remove lube?

Hi guys, I switched to using a rotary Thumler tumbler and the wet pin method for cleaning brass. And for removing lube off of sized cases I also have used just soap and water in that tumbler. But I was wondering if anyone has used the rotary tumblers with dry corn cob media, or more...

Looking for a Neck Sizer in .223

I Have done both of the methods steve4102 mentioned. If you put the mandrel in your drill you can use 400 or 600 grit sandpaper and move up and down the mandrel and measure your progress with a caliper. You can also polish up the contact points of the die to make it work more reliably...

    N340 9mm chrono results

Believe me, the first thing I googled when I got home from shooting my N320 loads was "HK P30 P30L light reduced recoil spring" etc. However, last I checked no one makes one for the P30 or P30L. I should have gotten the regular P30 and maybe have less issues with weaker rounds.

    N340 9mm chrono results

That sounds familiar to me a little, but not sure. One thing I heard was that N330 was also specifically made for 9mm rounds, and I think even more specifically for the MP5-SD. As in, it is a good powder for suppressed rounds. I would try it but can't find it around here. My local guy gets...

    S&W 340pd 1 7/8in chrono results

5rnds of 158gr .357 will cause damage to your hand also! Its just impractical for that gun. I think the 125gr .357 is in the realm of reality for me. Otherwise it shoots just about the same as the 442 with .38 +p loads. But when I got the gun used it came with some crimson trace grips that...

    N340 9mm chrono results

Thanks for the report! So I was thinking maybe I could try the 3N37 some day. In looking at the loads on the vihtavuori website, their Max load for the Rainier 124gr RN (plated) of 6.0gr is less than their suggested starting load for the Hornady 124gr FMJ at 6.1gr. Essentially just the lead...
