If you can afford $100/night for an unarmed guard that is your best bet for security. Trip wires, dogs, etc will not be as effective as a person at relizing there is danger and waking you up. Or you could take shifts at night

Hello all, I would like to mount an aimpoint micro to my 329pd. Every weaver style scope mount I see extends much farther down the gun than I need. Is there a scope mount out there made for small red dots? Thanks

I hate to rain on the parade because I agree with the premiss. However, I belive the scope is not actually and ACOG. There is a cheasy knockoff ACOG that is actually a red dot w/unlimited eye relief.

Wolfeye, I've always open carried in the woods. It is infinitly more comfortable when hiking. I have never had another hiker so much as bat an eye. Even if they did call, in most areas F&W would have a 24 hour response time :).

I think a dogs purpose is to wake me up or alert me when a stranger is on my land. I happen to have a 100lb. lab/chesapeak (sp) mix that patrols his perimeter like he's in the secret service :)

I would usually open carry. My plan for National Park carry (if they force you to conceal) is a J frame in a pocket holster in belt camera bag.
