Wildkow, I have never had the issues with swaging out a military crimp like you are having. Thank goodness we only have to swage once per cartridge!!!!!! I have a RCBS manual swage die, and then i follow with a couple of turns with this tool. Perfect diameter and depth everytime...

Those fired Win .223 look to have cratered primers...overpressure?

I also use the RCBS hand Swager and it works perfectly fine for my needs.

The KA is corrosive. However, don't let that discourage you from using it. I have KA and it is fine ammo....especially the brass. If you reload, you'll like it. Now as far as shooting the stuff, just kae a botle of windex w/ammonia with you to the range. Shoot your rounds and then liberally...
