    Yes, but not 7.62x39. It is a shorter cartridge than the 7.62x51. .308 and 7.62x51 go hand in hand. 7.62x39 does not.

    Like 2-3 people said .25-06...That's it? You can't go wrong with .25-06, especially for anything long range. 270 is nice, but it packs a decent wallop in the recoil department...25-06 kills like a FRICKIN LASER BEAM, and is a mild shooter...You know where the money is at ;-)

    I'm not having much luck finding some decent reloading info for the Sierra Gameking bullets. I'm shooting a .30-06 and I'm wanting to cook up a pretty hot load for these. Can anyone help me with info? Or have a Sierra reloading manual....? Thanks a bunch guys!

    Yep. I double up my ears with plugs and noise canceling muffs. It doesn't really hurt me, but my .30-06 is LOUD! It's enough to wake the neighbors.....

    Oh yeah...If its doing that, it's not gripping the chamber right because it's sliding backwards. You got a head-spacing issue there I'd reckon.
