They sell the gun with the target shot with ammo they know shoots best with it... I would venture to say they have their groups shot with handloads made by an employee... I would do as others suggested and try different brands of ammo at the same time.. See what gives the best overall...
There are 5 steps to a good shoot
1 You did not cause the situation
2 You believe you were in imminent danger or death or serious bodily injury
3 You didnt violate any opportunity to retreat or avoid danger
4 You exhausted all other means to avoid using deadly force
5 Your use of force...
How are they as far as hydration purposes and such go... Would Camel backs be appreciated... Quality cleaning materials for their firearms would have to be a top on their lists... Some break free and bore snakes would probably be a God send when out and about...
I use Hornady 180gr BTSPs... About 16 a box of 100... I have never found a bullet... Have taken black bear, large and small deer, taken heads off of turkeys, groundhogs, and yes even the aggrevating squirels (head shot and the squirrel was eaten)...
I believe it goes off of the residents state laws...
It could be illegal to sell rifles to say a DC resident... Other states could have a waiting period...
Here the only waiting period is while the state police do your background check over the phone to see if you can buy a gun or not
A 223 with a MV of 3200fps takes about .712 seconds to travel 500yds and is still moving about 1700fps (50grn)
If your reaction time is .400 you would have to react to the pop of the gun rather than visual....
My opinion... Its impossible to dodge a bullet that fast at that distance..
