918V (SLAP TOGETHER A LOAD)
well as far as slapping together a load " i dont do that" i was at one of my buddies houses and shot the load he uses to see if it would shoot in my gun.... im not an idiot.. it showed promise by shooting a 1in group which means i will start at 11.5 gr and work...
I own a rem BDL 25-06 and have for 16 yrs.. it will shoot a ragged hole with 85 gr nosler or 87 gr speer. it will also shoot 100 gr rem core lokt in one hole. My uncle and dad worked up a load for it when i got it for xmas when i was 12. SINCE THEN.. It has killed a lot of critters, death on...
i might add that the tikka is a great choice also.... but the REM is 550$ and if you buy the sps varmint it is 500 with a 75 dollar rebate right now...
Down here in KY it is very common to own the SPS TAC and a Bushnell elite Tac scope... People around here are crazy over shooting 6-7-800 yds with this set up... COST EFFICIENT. I personally do not own it but on more than one occasion have watched guys walk the steel out to 800 yds with this...

I realize this, however since it was the first time i heard of it i thought i would ask some of you guys... GOOGLE brings about dozens of loads and people who advertise this as a prairie dog cost efficient round.... JUST some need to know... GOOGLE ( blue dot and 223 rem) and see what all comes...
Heard this from a man today that usually knows his stuff... Im just curious to hear about it.... Thats what i shoot in my trap gun !!! Except in a much healthier dose!!!!
everybody seems to like the 69 gr bullet for 223.... with that said, what kinda velocity are we talking and how is the effective range on a coyote with that load... this is more than likely a hunting rd more so than anything else..
"You really need to get a reloading manual and see for yourself."

I like the thought of ball powders bc they do meter well, however i have had the best luck with IMR over the yrs. BLC2 seems to be a good choice i just dont know much about it. RL 15 and 17 have been in the back of my mind. the only thing is i want to keep my velocity up in the 223 for the...
