    anyone use Missouri Bullet Company?

I asked him about this a while back. He will make a special run for you in any hardness you want but you have to take the entire run of them. I do not remember how many he said but I think it would end up being 3-4000 bullets.

    .45 Colt hunting

My standard loading for my .45 Colt is a 255 gr LRN FP bullet loaded to about 850 fps. Has anyone used this combo for deer hunting? The woods I hunt are pretty overgrown and a long shot is going to be 50 yards and most of my shots are under 25.

    .45-70 Deer Hunting Bullet ???

I shot a large doe this year using the standard 405 gr fp bullet you buy in bulk for cowboy stuff. It was going about 1500 fps. doe was 40 yards away quartering twards me. Shot though th elung, dropped and didn't go more than a few feet from where I shot her. I ate to withine a 1/2" of the hole...

44 .Mag Revolver ammo in a Win 94

I wouldn't use FMJ bullets in there. The flat point on the bullet shoudl be wider than the primer if posible to prevent firing the next round in line. As for feeding, my 94 in .45 Colt will feed everything from my 255 gr RNFP to the 360 gr WFN loads. Only thing mine wount feed is CCI shot rounds...

    Diagonal stringing?

I just make it a matter of habbit, if something isn't right it takes me just a minute to make sure everything is tight and right. never know when a small problem could be exagerated by other things (different pressure wave possibly). But maybe your rifle just don't like that powder.

    Diagonal stringing?

If the barrel isn't hot then check your action screws. loose or screws tightened unevenly can cause this as well. make sure both are tightened to as close to the same as possible.

A couple of .45 colt questions

If you start using any heavy loads be sure to work up with each type of brass. I have noticed a big difference with different combos. With .45 Colt I will trim only for heavy loads where a wierd crimp could cause problems if it is sever enough. With the brass the way you describe it I would...

    selling/buying on the net

you don't need to send a copy of the ffl to a non-licencee, you just need the number. verify the number and shipping address on gunbroker or the atf website.

    selling/buying on the net

find a price you like, email them. agree on price and shipping. find a FFL dealer in your area that will accept the firearm and process the paperwork and background checks. Send payment and ffl number to seller. seller ships to your ffl dealer who completes the transfer, paperwork, and federal...

    The joys of obscure calibers

7.35mm Carcano. I lucked into a bunch of bullets made way back when for a reasonable price, then had to wait a few more years till I could find cases I could form to 7.35 that I could afford (norma stuff is just too high for this rifle).
