Thanks for the info, Ive been looking at a 12in barreled .357 revolver, at a good price.....sounds like it has alot of potential.
However, I assume the real strength would be in the increased sight radius.
Cant find any useful information, so I thought Id ask the people who know!
As is stated in the title, Id like to know something about the performance of a 12" barreled .357, as compared to shorter barreled ones, maybe even possible variences in loads (125 grain bullets, 150 grain ETC.)
Grrrreeeeeeaaaat news.....
I live alll the way out in WATHA, and what do they do? get ready to kill one of the only gun shops I know of in wilmington......its hard enough finding shops near by.
Im considering getting a CZ-52, and would like to know what current prices are for NEW currently made ammo are for it.
I know a local seller sells S&B and another sells Whinchester.
Ive heard it said the internet makes the world much more centralized when you look for information, and that seems true.
But ive yet to find out aprox. how many Saigas are in the country, ive heard numbers as low as a few thousand for the 12's alone! does anyone have any clue about how many...
I dont know if its true or not, but I heard somewhere that some people converted some captured 1911's INTO 7.62X25, I belive Id heard it was during the vietnam war, then again....Idont really know, it sounded far fetched to me.
*shrug* that may be, I was just thinking, and from what Id read alot of people did like it but if its not true, so be it.
ANYWAY, the idea was to fit them into a modern automatic pistol frame, nothing more :) not like Id ever go for something like this, because if I want to play with a high...
but it wont fit in any modern frame's mag wells, right?
Why not recreate it? say, take a 10mm as the starting point, but neck it so it can take the .30 cal bullet, but make it so the overall length matches that of the parent 10mm....
Not the SAME round persay, but close, and could...
trying to shoot with only one eye to me had always felt unnatural to me, so ive always used both eyes
for reference, Im right handed, and left eye domiant, but I shoot left handed.
Will they still be selling the baseline models in 10mm? Id heard they would be discontinuing them, but it may have been hersay....but you seem like the guy to ask.
A labor of love that was, My father bought it a LOOONNNGGGG time ago (for me anyway) and it came with a clunky duck bill mag, and a horribly dented stock...when the fellow threw that stuff away, I was happier then you could belive! :) Im just happy it looks good, I Worked hard to make it look as...
