Best Speed Loader for Glock Mags?

True, the MakerShot speedloader is magazine specific. That may be ok for some and not others.

Best Speed Loader for Glock Mags?

Looking on Amazon for reviews from purchasers of magazine speedloaders I saw that MakerShot Magazine Speedloaders got the best reviews. Does that match your experience? There’s the universal Maglula Uplula speedloader. Twice as expensive but is it twice as good?

Glock 45 ACP gen 4 vs gen 5 mags?

The tech support lady at Ruger disappeared for awhile when I asked: gen 4 or gen 5? When she came back she said she had talked to “parts supply” and they said “definitely gen 4”. I don’t think that means gen 5 won’t work but it could mean that gen 4 is simply more popular and easier to get.

Glock 45 ACP gen 4 vs gen 5 mags?

Called Ruger and they said gen 4 mags … definitely go with gen 4. Are there issues/problems with gen 5 mags?

Glock 45 ACP gen 4 vs gen 5 mags?

Just bought a Ruger 45 ACP LC Carbine. It uses Glock mags. The only thing on Ruger’s website is: I assume that means BOTH gen 4 and gen 5 mags will work. Is there any reason to prefer gen 5 over gen 4 or vice versa?

Rifle case for my Ruger 45 ACP LC Carbine

Looking for a rifle case my 30” Ruger 45 ACP PCC. I found this Bulldog case but don’t have any experience with Bulldog cases. Any comments or suggestions ? Undoubtedly there are better ? BTW, that case goes for $93 $83.

    Burn Rate Chart Inconsistencies

I’m was looking for the relative (to other powders) burn rate for True Blue and so far I’ve found 58 from LoadData.com, 44 from Grafs.com, and 22 from hodgdonpowderco.com relative numbers where smaller means faster burning. Some of this might be explained by there are different powders in the...

    Berry’s 230 gr 45ACP + Universal

I think that applies to the 1911s as well. Plus, I would probably get a Ruger 1911 which can handle 45 Supers with a swapped out recoil spring. Just call Wolff Springs.

    Berry’s 230 gr 45ACP + Universal

S&W says it’s rated for +P loads. S&W says any of their guns manufactured after 1995 are designed for +P loads and mine was manufactured in 2007.

    Berry’s 230 gr 45ACP + Universal

I think that’s just the number BERRY gives for their plated bullets and has nothing to do with 45 ACP bullets in particular.

    Berry’s 230 gr 45ACP + Universal

I used 5.5±0.1 … even tho it took quite a few throws to accomplish that. Like a said earlier, there may be a 5.7 throw in one of the 100 rounds but since these are not +P loads, I think I’m ok. BTW, this is the first time I’ve used Universal so the large flakes are something I’d only previously...

    Berry’s 230 gr 45ACP + Universal

Not sure what the +1 means? So if I’m looking for a 5.5 gr charge of Universal, I do what? I set Redding’s micrometer so that 3 throws averages out at 5.5 gr (if 5.5 gr is the desired throw) and leave it there … come what may?
