Who out there is handloading .38 S&W and would not mind sharing their receipe? I have the reloading die and some spent brass as well as my choice of W231 or HS-6. All I need is a source for bullets. Any thoughts? Jeff

I loaded 1 box of Rainer FN 125 grn with 6.5 grn HS-6 per recommendation. The entire box shot flawlessly.

The Rainier pdf file ommits the load data for .38 spl. I'm loading HS-6 7.6 grn, Rainier 125 grn FP. Seems to shoot fine. Anyone see a problem with this?

I just received a set of wood grips, made in Indonesia. I cut down the butt about 1/4 inch.

This is what I loaded last week. My rounds where all over the freaking place. Thought at first it might be the Colt Detective Special I was using, however, consistency was not improved with my 4" Security Six at bench rest. 158 Grn swc, HS-9 5.8 grn, seated 1/64" too deep.

All I find at the pawn shops around here are overpriced junk or stolen merchandise. You got a good deal.
