Does Tulammo not go by SAAMI specs?

I too have shot thousands of tula x39, 5.45, 9mm, .223, 54r and have never had a problems. I have seen people have problems with it sticking in chambers of ARs, but I think that is more of the coating on the outside of the round. In my M&P sport I have tested shooting 2 mags of tula and then...

Army opposes legislation to release surplus pistols to CMP?

How exactly is a full size .45 more conceal-able than the compacts and sub compacts that line the shelves of the thousands of gun stores around the country?

    Hornady LnL not EZ-jecting.

Thanks for the replies. I am going to give Hornady a call and see what they can do for me regarding the shell plate. If theres nothing they can do, I will try my luck with the modification walk along suggested. Thanks again.

    Hornady LnL not EZ-jecting.

It is the #1plate sorry I forgot to add a picture. I thought maybe it was because the brass was really dirty, but it even happens with clean brass. I have the little bump it hits to eject it well lubed. I have tried to polish it with steel wool but no difference achieved. I thought about the...

    What is "commercial" brass?

I just recently ordered 5,000 for a friend at $160 shipped. They had 3,000 for $86 ($0.03 ppr) Not sure if linking is allowed but it was Monmouth Brass

    Hornady LnL not EZ-jecting.

Hi, I keep running into a ejecting problem on my LnL while depriming brass. I have the shell plate as snug as possible, the brass will eject a few and get stuck on a few. All are same headstamp from same year, TAA 01. At first I thought maybe the brass was the issue, so I tried some hornady...

    bullet puller advice

I will give another +1 for the Hornady collet puller. I went the cheap with the Frankford hammer type puller and it gave tons of trouble trying to consistently pull .223 bullets. I also was not fond of pounding a hammer on a wood block or resetting the round when it slipped through the collet...

    M&P 15 Sport reliability

Like others have stated, it is a solid rifle. I have somewhere near 4,000 rounds into mine with 1500 being fired between a cleaning. It was wolf and Tula. The only time I have a problem will be a bad primer or mag issue. Buy with confidence. I have a Burris pepr mount and 6-18 scope and it is...

chamfer & deburring tool in power drill

Thank you everyone for your suggestions, that Sinclair one looks exactly like the tool I was thinking of. Have any of you tried the hornady deburr/chamfer tool with it? Or does it need the inset like the rcbs tool for the set screw to lock onto?

chamfer & deburring tool in power drill

I've got the daunting task of trimming, deburring, and chamfering roughly 3,500 223/5.56 and 2,900 7.62x51brass. I have already ordered a drill adapter for the trimmer to make my life a little easier, now I am looking for a chamfer and deburr tool that can also fit in a drill. I have the RCBS...

    Do you personalize your guns?

Where I live the only reasonable distanced outdoor range opens 2 days a month so I go for 2 8hour days. Does the sweat soaked into the stock (South Florida heat) and the blood from my thumb in the magazine count as customizing?

Milsurps at the public gun range

I usually get scoffed at by most for the Yugo SKS, but when I bring the Fin M39 with the "tiger stripe" they will come look over the stock. every time they pick it up, they have the look like their picking up a bag of concrete.

harbor freight rock tumbler (used for AS tumbling)

Thanks for all the replies. I did actually go out and buy one the day after this post because the posts I read confirmed what I thought already. I have used it pretty much nonstop for almost a month. The only problem I had so far was it kept tripping the gfi in the garage but that may have been...

    gouge marks in die

Hi, I have a month old redding .308 FL die that has scratches on the inside. I just noticed today when I changed to my .223 die for some depriming. I have went over some cases that I already preped and SS tumbled but found no scratches. Should I be concerned? It is past the 30 day return.

    Scale Calibration Weights Necessary?

I bought check weights to give me peace of mind. I'd rather be sure than have something drastic happen that could be prevented by spending $20 and knowing for sure.
