Iraqi Police Selling Weapons on Black Market

With Iraqi conflict deteriorating and various scandals related to that, like multibillion corruption cases and controversial plan for securing Baghdad, are just adding flavor to American political fiasco in Middle east. What is more alarming, the people who are designated to step up US forces...

    Possessing arms in Yemen

As far as I know, the strong constraint against Yemeni gov-t is the fact that the President is backed by tribes who adher to the tribal laws emanated from culture. Second, it is Socialist party who advocates for putting some ban on firearms. Third, it is ruled by same President for long years...

I heard Krinkov was the last name of an alleged Soviet Army soldier from Afghanistan war whose weapon was captured - AKS-74U and since then on the West they call this wonderful technical device in this way. But in reality I have never met anyone with such last name (I live in post-Soviet country).

Good war movies & what you like about 'em

Alternative movies I also like watching war movies. There you see two fighting sides and sometimes you observe good characters from both sides, who are set to be examples of bravery, courage, strength, fidelity and patriotism/commitment. Movies like Troy, Saving private Ryan, Enemy at the...

    Anachronisms in movies

RAMBO movies Or in Rambo movies, Russians have inappropriate clothing or arms. Especially - Rambo III, where Soviets are armed with Eastern Bloc weapons, instead of Mother Russia's AK-74 Kalashnikovs. Or even some mutant tools just like Rambo's:barf: Besides, Russians fly US made choppers...

pc first person shooter about home/self defence?

I see that real-life gun owners too play cyber-simulations? Well I played a bunch of FPS games. World War 2 themed games are boring, you have only coalition or nazi or soviet kind of guns and grenades, like in Stalingrad or 1944 Normandy Invasion version of Medal of Honour. Realism is there...
