    Can't carry at gun shows??????

I own 15 handguns, 3 long guns, 3 shotguns and a high powered air rifle so it should be obvious to the most casual observer that I am not anti-gun. I cannot see for the life of me why anyone would get upset because he or she can't carry at a gun show. Even after having heard that in some places...

    Facts needed. .380 for defense?

Head shots are a little more difficult than nut shots. Heads bob and weave, nuts just hang there. Groin or lower abdomen shots are better for light loads like .32acp fired from a pistol with a 2.0" barrel because there is less bone to penetrate.

    Facts needed. .380 for defense?

Amen 1911TUNER, My wife carries a little .32acp in her purse. I've taught her to shoot the BG in the same place she would kick him if attacked. When using a silowet(spelling) target, she can put all 7 rounds in his groin at about 10 to 12 feet. May not kill him but he'll think twice each time...

    conceal/carry gun

Don't forget the Smith and Wesson Chief's Special Model CS45, it's light, thin, carries 7 rounds, is Traditional Dual Action. It has a bobbed hammer but with very little practice you can learn how to manually cock it. It is very accurate and of a proven S&W design, not a 1911 clone. Great little...

    problems with NAA Guardian .380

Gutter Sipes, HMMMM A shorter sight radius on an already short site radius. I have the standard sites on my Guardian and they work well for what the gun was intended. Face it, this is a belly gun. I met a fellow at our range who paid NAA $150 to mill in guttersnipes and he thought it was money...

Kahr Reliability: K vs. Mk Series

I own 4 Kahrs (other guns also) a K9, K40, K40 Covert, and a MK40 Elite. Notice I have no polymer versions. Every one of my Kahrs have been fired mega times with nary a hiccup. The Mk series suffers a little in accuracy out past 15 or 20 yards but who cares, it's not a target pistol. The most...

    Can't carry at gun shows??????

Some of you are really hung up on "your rights", I am very happy that I can carry at all. If there are situations that prohibit the carrying of concealed weapons, so be it, then I have two choices to make: 1. I don't go. 2. I leave my gun in the glove box of my truck, go to the event and enjoy...

    Can't carry at gun shows??????

Same thing here in my part of Florida. The last show I went to in Palmetto Florida (Suncoast Gun Shows) There was a uniformed Deputy Sheriff at the tie table and 4 uniformed Deputies roving all over the show floor. Loaded weapons were strictly forbidden!!! In Florida it is against state law...

Proud new owner; Security Six, like new!

AWWWWW you guys, A couple of months ago I had one for sale in this forum just like Jame's. It was a Ruger Security Six with a 2.75" barrel in mint condition and not one of you guys who wanted one so badly ever answered my ad. So I decided to keep it and glad I did. Good Luck Jamie, that is one...

Guns in the for sale column.

This is just something that I found interesting. Ever notice in THR's "Buy, Sell, Trade Handguns" that approximately 98% of the guns for sale are auto-pistols? Does that mean that folks tend to keep their wheelguns and get rid of their bottom feeders? Does that mean that more of us are going...

Is their such thing as an inexpensive, high-capacity .40 or .45 caliber gun?

Glocks a good one, available locally in Florida for $495 +tax.:D

    Glock pros and cons.

Ya gotta pull the trigger when diassembling Kahrs also. Like NOBAN and the Glock & Kahr owner's manuals state. Check to see if the chamber is empty before disassembly. Any one who doesn't do that when field stripping any firearm is a damn fool and doesn't deserve, or shouldn't be allowed, to own...
