cratz2, I think you are right.I have a Win 1300 12gauge,it's only 6.75 lbs.Shooting 3in mags out of it is not my idea of fun.That's what got me thinking about going to a 20gauge.

Witch would have more recoil,7 1/4 lb 12 gauge or a 6 1/4 lb 20 gauge,both guns would be shooting 3in mag turkey loads.I would think the 20 would still kick less.Do you think there yould be a big difference? Thanks.
