I found a Ruger AR-15 "broken as/is" from a pawn shop for $200.
Hell of a steal, but the A-2 front sight base is missing the pins, hand guard is gone and the take down pins are so tight we couldn't put them back in (to join the upper and lower).
Any advice for a fix for the super tight...
I bought a bolt action bolt at a shop I figured I could resell but I need to find the model and hopefully the caliber too.
It's a Sako bolt.
I hope someone can identify the bolt for me. Thanks
Hello all, my buddy owns a Hatsan 12 gauge pump shotgun and he asked me about a Failure to Fire issue he had. He was using Federal slugs and the round failed to fire. My first thought was a bad primer/round (since the bird shot and buckshot he was shooting fired fine). But he said after he...
I've built several AR-15's and fixed a few guns here and there. I've disassembled several different guns to cerakote for friends/family. I've only cerakoted one revolver.
I do plan to carry this gun as a back up, on duty.
The firing pin does not appear to protrude at all when dry fired...
I just got a used S&W airweight 38 spcl.
I tried to shoot it today and the primer strikes were so light not one round went off. I tried factory Blazer aluminum brass and then factory Winchester brass. Neither brand fired. The primer strikes were very light. I called S&W and they sent me a...
I have the chance to buy two used "broken-as/is" shotguns for $75 each. It's a good deal if I can fix em for cheap. The Parnder pump is missing the extractor and plunger in the bolt. $30 worth of parts.
The Stevens 320 has a bolt that won't close. Nothing looks missing but I can't...

My buddy has two old Colt SAA revolvers, he believes one is not functioning properly. When he pulls the hammer back on the "working" one, it has four "clicks" when pulled all the way back. The "non working one" only has two "clicks" when cocked back.
Is there something wrong with the one...
Eh, it's a cheapy fixer upper. Has a couple of railed accessories already on it and rust. Perfect candidate for a Cerakote job. I may not add anything, I was just curious. If I come across a steal of a deal on a Magpul forend and/or buttstock I may add them to it.
Can anyone tell me if the 12 gauge H&R Pardner pump (870 knock off) is compatible with Remington 870 12 gauge parts (after market buttstocks/forend a etc)?
Thanks
Steve
Hello,
I'd like to know the gallon size of the air compressor any of you use who do Cerakote/Duracoat.
I have a 26 gallon compressor but at 80 PSI, I run out of pressure very fast and have to wait for the pressure to go back up to 80 PSI.
This of course is used to Aluminum Oxide blast...
I'm looking to build an AR, haven't decided on a .556/300 blackout or pistol variation.
I've heard that Daniel Defense makes top quality barrels. But of course they are pricey. Does anyone have any experience with other high quality barrels for a better price (under $200).
I've seen some...
