If I can, so can you.
I just did my first one using the guide on ar15.com which also links to a video.
Guy at the store was telling me how hard it would be, and how guys come in all the time and drop all the parts on the counter and pay him to assemble them.
I got all freaked out and...
On one of my threads, I thought I remembered someone also stating that the newer P-01 had a slightly better curved trigger which is more friendly to those with small hands. Helps with the DA pull.
The CZ experts can correct if I'm wrong.
Probably able to purchase the newer trigger and...
Yes they are sister pistols. Don't know about the re-released version, but the original BDA was actually made by Beretta for Browning. There is a little "PB" rollmark on the slide. The manual of arms is slightly different. Oddly enough the BDA has a slide mounted safety ala the Beretta 92...
Yes the PX4 9 is soft, but the rotating barrel doesn't soften it as significantly as it does for the .40.

A Different business angle
Not exactly what you are looking at, but another possible business venture:
Dedicated Primer maker.
As a reloader, it is difficult to get bullets, but not impossible if you don't go with the named brands. There are several bullet only makers to get items from...

Yes, it was actually the P-01 I handled.
I assumed the "Compacts" were the same, since I thought I saw it used the same grips, but if that isn't the case, then I might have to go P-01 even though I would have preferred the one with the safety.
My brother has a 226. I don't have a problem...
Lol, leave it to the CZ guys to sway the choice with pics. :)
Looks like general consensus is I gotta go with the fit. There is a Johnny Cochran-ism in there somewhere.
So sounds like I gotta either do some driving or mail ordering.
Thanks all for reading the lengthy post and taking...
I've been searching for a replacement pistol for the last couple of months, and my research has narrowed it down between a CZ and a Sig, probably a Sig 229 vs a CZ 75 Compact ( maybe a P-01/06 based on availability). But I'm having a very difficult time of it.
I'm not sure how to explain it...
