    Pocket carrying heavy snubbies

I pocket carry a stainless steel Rossi M88 every day, using a cheap Uncle Mike's pocket holster. The weight is no issue for me at all, but at 6' and 250 (conservatively) pounds, I'm a fairly big guy. I do think I will pick up a Mika pocket holster soon. I keep hearing too many good things...

How does one get into competitive shooting?

    Maybe you can help me...

Rossi is owned by Taurus. BrazTech International L.C. is the importer for Rossi in North Amerca. I don't kow much about Rossi since Taurus took over, but I love my .38 Rossi M88 which was made back in the 80's. For what it's worth, I've never spoken to anyone who owned a Rossi and had...

How many shooters are also musicians?

Another Celtic musician here. My screen name is derived from "celtic"; not Kel-tec:cool: My main instruments these days are guitar and bodhran. I have an acoustic Seagull guitar and and a great old Peavey T-60 electric, which doesn't see near-enough action. I also have various keyboards...

The gun that saved my dad’s life...and ended someone else’s

Just one thing to add to Johnny Guest's very informative post. Like the S&W 642, the Rossi M88 has a staged trigger. If you slowly pull the trigger back, you will hear and feel one click. Then you pull the trigger a little more and you will hear and feel a second click. At this point, it...

Don't Laugh! A Rossi Snubbie In 357 any thoughts??

It's not a .357, but I carry an older .38 M88 Rossi every day. Frankly, it's much too nice to be thrown in a tackle box.

The gun that saved my dad’s life...and ended someone else’s

I have an identical Rossi M88 in my pocket right now as I type this. I carry this gun every day, and some day (hopefully a very long time from now), I will leave it to my daughter.

I just got off the line with Charter 2000's CEO!

If someone comes out with a light weight double action "I" framed revolver in .32 H&R, I will purchase it on the first day it's released. :)

What to do? Needing a pocket gun.

I owned a Kel-tec P11 for a couple of years. I never had any problems with it. It was a reliable, compact pistol. It concealed well in jeans or whatever else I was wearing. But for some reason, I just never felt completely comfortable carrying it. I recently sold it and bought a Rossi M88...

How many of you carry a multitool?

+1 for the Great Neck. I think I paid about 6 bucks for mine and use it every day.

Has anyone heard of this pistol?

Well, I guess I'm glad I kept my 40 bucks!

Has anyone heard of this pistol?

Are Rohm and R.G. Industries the same company? I saw a couple of R.G. .22 revolvers at the gun show this past weekend. I thought of picking one up to use as a cheap plinker. Kevin

    How many of you....

I picked up a Rossi M88 at the Indy 1500 show this past weekend. She told me her name was "Lucille". It looks like the start of a beautiful relationship Kevin (with apologies to B.B. King)
