Wondering if any of you have ever seen or shot a Ruger GSR with a Burris Fastfire or similar micro reflex sight mounted on a picatinny scope ring above
a LER scope.
I have a Burris 3-12x32 & a 2-7x32 sitting around for my GSR and a set of Blackhawk rings with a picatinny rail top ring...
The revolver shown in the top left of the photograph is probably the most rare one I own. It is a blued 4" service six revolver with a round butt, which means it was mislabeled & assembled at the factory. It should have a square butt being a service six, but somehow ended up with a round butt frame.
The bottom center revolver is the only one that is not a six series revolver.
It is a SP101 I bought when the SP revolvers first came out years ago.
It's not new, but has only been shot a handful of times. Less than 50 rounds
You might consider a used Ruger Security Six, Speed Six or Service Six.
Built like a tank. They have gone up quite a bit in price, but bargains can still
be found if you shop around
Went by my LGS yesterday and as soon as I walked in the door they say
we just got a revolver traded in that they were pretty sure I would want
to take a look at. I say ok, let's see it. They pull out a stainless speed six.
They didn't event have a price tag on it yet.
Now, I need another...
I have a 1947 K22 just like that including the box.
They are beautiful revolvers and the most accurate
22 handgun that I own including my Ruger MKII competition
slab side pistol and that is saying something.
Thanks Bullseye and to the rest of you.
I was doing some research last night on this topic and came across a few threads
that mentioned the LCI (loaded chamber indicator) on the MK III upper would have to
be removed or a notch cut into the bolt of the MK II to allow for the LCI to fit...
Good Afternoon,
I have a chance to buy a new stainless MK III heavy barreled upper for what I consider to be a really good price ($40), and was planning on putting it on one of my MK II pistol lowers. My LGS says it should fit and function properly
I wanted to hear what you guys had to say...
Marlin 1894C in 357
Has anyone seen what JM stamped Marlin 1894C rifles are selling for lately ?
HOLY COW.... the prices have gone through the roof.
I have one I bought back in 1998 for $300.00.
The last one I saw on Gunbroker had a bid of over $800.00
