Not true. Dan Wesson is owned by CZ-USA (which is owned by CZ AFAIK.) One hears a lot of praise and very few complaints about CZ firearms. I've had a CZ-75B (and the Kadet .22 adapter) for 15 years and a CZ-527 carbine for ten. Excellent guns. Ken
