I had a Leupold 2-7x on mine, but have settled on these: http://www.skinnersights.com/ I use it for hunting and won't shoot the .357 farther than 75-100 yards on deer. These sights keep the rifle clean and light weight, while still giving excellent accuracy.

No rumor was started. I asked if anyone had measured. Never said that I knew one way or the other. We speculated a bit in this thread, but still no one has measured.

Justin's chart illustrates how bad Chernobyl was and still is. Geiger counters are relatively cheap. Surely someone out there has access to one and can test various types of Russian ammo.

Looking at a map of the Chernobyl fallout, much of western Russia (including Tula) received significant amounts. Has anyone ever tested Russian ammo and guns for radioactivity? Does anyone have access to a Geiger counter?

Chucking the front sight post in a drill and narrowing it down on a metal file is so easy that it makes spending the $5 +$2 shipping seem ridiculous.

Looks very nice and the pictures are great. Where did you get it? Every place I've seen is backordered.

It'll work, no doubt. But it isn't shocking when a 95 grain bullet with a thin jacket fails to penetrate deeply.
