I have the same problem. I need an 1100 bbl for my 1100 Skeet. It has the heavy receiver but a skeet bbl with larger gas ports and Remington says I cant use heavier loads without changing the bbl. Doesn't make sense when I have the heavy receiver.

Thanks for all the info, dfariswheel. I guess I'll start making some phone calls later this week. From what I see on the pricing on a couple of those sites it looks like I'd be better off biting the bullet and buying a marine grade shotgun and a stainless pistol to keep on the boat.
