Okay. I am not going to let my complaint here go un-ammended. The parts arrived today. I can honestly say that these are quality peices with top-rate fit and finish. :)

Okay. So I have ordered a carbon fiber lower now. Can you guys tell me about biulding ARs. I have never built up a stripped lower. How hard is it, do I need special tools, have any of you done this?

Is the Hesse Arms "carbon fiber" lower too crappy to function properly?

I need some advice guys. I've been hunting around the web all day looking for a cost effective and legal way to build an AR pistol. I'm having little luck. So far, I see that I could use a Hesse arms stripped lower. However, I know that the Hesse name rymes with crap. Can their QC be so bad that...

9mm is groovy for capacity and follow-up shots...till you try running caseless through a floating breach. I'll just stick with my casset-fed HK USMP-7 and it's 120rnds of steel core 5mm standard caseless. :D

I've used that particular style foregrip before. For me, they work great, allowing for a firmer racking action. The ergos might be a little off, being matched with a straight stock, but if it works for you that way, cool. Try out a full-stock-with-PG if you get the chance.

I do shoot better with medium frame DA revolvers than with any automatic. I can't say I know why, but I'd rather face serious unpleasantness with a smith .357 and a couple of speedloaders than with a 1911 and 3 magazines.
